To Price Match, you simply bring one store’s ad into another store and they will sell you a product at the others stores price. Not all stores will price match so you will need to check their individual policies or call ahead.
Besides doing Price Matching for everyday shopping like produce or food items, a great time to do Price Matching would be when shopping for school supplies, or Christmas presents. This allows you to do a one stop type of shopping when your lists are many! J (note that you must be purchasing the EXACT item to get the PM)
These are the price matching policies of popular retailers, always check before you go because stores update and change their policies without notice. That being said you should always have your stores policy with you.

Wal Mart – According to fine print on TV commercial “Our stores will match the price of any local competitor’s printed ad for an identical product. Not applicable to Walmart.com. Restrictions apply.
Here are some national examples:
~Home Depot Price Match Guarantee–If you bring another store’s ad in to the Home Depot, they will beat the price by 10%. This can add up to a lot of savings with appliances:

~Best Buy Price Match–Ive taken a competitor’s store ad into Best Buy and done this right at the register. I was looking for a video game that was priced so low at K-Mart that it was sold out. I went over to Best Buy, where the item was not on sale (so there were plenty in stock) and showed them the K-Mart ad. The cashier rang the game up at the lower price.

~Target Price Adjustment–Have you ever flipped through the Target ad on Sunday morning just to see that an item you just purchased is now on sale? Take your receipt (not the product, just the receipt) to the Customer Service desk within 14 days of purchase, and you will receive a price adjustment.
With any store, if there is not a printed policy (often found in the weekly ad or on the website), call ahead or ask a manager at the store to confirm the policy before you begin shopping so you’re not surprised at the register.
